Introduction:
A long time ago in a galaxy far away…
Specifically it was Uni 42 and not too long ago…
I was a leader of an alliance called Galactic Trade Federation (G.T.F.) We were miners and focused on trade. The amount of members fluctuated around 13 but it was enough … we had trade agreements with eXg and were supplying them with cheap deuterium, in return they did not attack us. Moreover we noticed that soon after significant trade deals eXg embers would increase their raid activity and post their Hof on the board. This gave me an idea! First we wanted to monopolize as much deut as possible and make “the fleeting” alliances to depend on us as much as possible. This type of approach would protect us and we would control the intensity of raids in uni. Additionally we started to develop a new way to control prices: we all know that it is very difficult to find someone to trade at 3:2:1 ratio – unless there is a war! So how do you instigate a war without getting involved? More importantly how would you force specific alliances to go to war – those who depend on your fuel? Well we found the answer but it is a different story for now let’s focus on this…
Overview:
Fleeting and trade are the two key aspects of the game. For now, I will focus on developing and implementing alliance’s infrastructure to facilitate trade. I propose the following:
1. To develop a strong system that would promote internal trade among the members.
2. To apply the above system as means to trade with other alliances.
The intent is to create a system that would motivate internal trade and trade with other partners (specific players /alliances) under a single economic umbrella. This type of relationship must be beneficial to all participants. The successful implementation should result in:
a. Fast and lucrative trade deals
b. Individual and alliance growth economically and militarily
c. Strong relations with another alliances that would lead to military pact
d. Control of resources, legal control of trade ratio and other economic influence universe wide (see notes below)
Note: the ultimate goal is to monopolies market for deuterium!
Internal Trading System
To be continued…
