Hi peeps, been a bit of talk recently about fleet saving so i thought i would have a go too lol.
Fleet saving is one of the most important parts of this game and can be done a number of ways depending on how advanced you are in the game.
At the start you wont have much fleet or res so you prob wont think about fleet saving but believe me this wont last long, try to get into the habit of it.
The two easiest ways when you start are by doing an expedition or attacking an inactive as you can slow down the speed of your fleet and expand the time of it also.
Now the problem with these are that you can get phalanxed from a moon and then can be attacked when you return to your planet so your next step is to get your own moon to fs from as a moon cannot be phalanxed, only scanned.
there are many post on wiki etc about moon shots but the easiest way is 1667 light fighters and as long as neither of you profit more than the other you can do mutual shots with any rank.
The safest way for you to fs now is to deploy between 2 of your own moons but if you only have 1 moon you can also attack an inactive moon. if you attack an inactive planet, this planet can still be phalanxed and your fleet seen. You can also do expeditions from your moon but there are also pirates out there.
If anyone else has anything else to add or suggest please feel free and i hope it helps

read about another fleet save this evening, another best from a moon but can be used from a planet.
Use an esp probe to attack an inactive to create a df then just send your fleet to recycle, as long as you have recyclers lol
* just to add, i have been using this method for a few days as depending how many systems away i send the probe and the speed of my ships i can fs to better times that suit me, also it creates invisible df if i send 1 esp probe

I think the best FS is from Moon to Moon (that is why everyone should get one) and by using deployment. most of advanced fleeters use this method.
1. your fleet cant get lanxed 2. it is difficult to ninja 3. you can turn it around (deployment only) when ever you want.

Yep everyone should have at least two moons for fleetsaving. As long as you're online when your fleet is idle or arrives at your moon. You'll be fine
