Hello everybody,
after reading some of your introductions I think it's time to introduce myself. I'm Toby and I am 18 years old. I first began playing OGame quite some time ago when I was about 12 years old and an OGame-Hype started to spread in my (school) class. Of course, back then I was oblivious for anything beyond constructing ships to compete with my classmates
About half a year ago (or was it longer ago? I honestly don't know), I started to play again and soon discovered that there's more to it than upgrading buildings and constructing ships. I am currently the happy owner of some nice planets spread out over galaxies 1 to 3 and I mainly focus on mining and maybe an attempt at turtling (although I've been told the latter is almost impossible in Uni 30). I got hit two or three times yet, but nothing too serious. My biggest accomplishment is researching Graviton Technology a week ago - although I did it more for the purpose of having a challenge than for the construction of Deathstars - but who knows what the future will bring
While I'm not a very chatty player, I keep close tabs on all of the alliance's communications and I try to drop by the forum from time to time - by the way I think it's a great idea to "activate" the alliance a little bit so we don't all play alone!
I am currently trying to decide if I should continue to focus on mining & research or maybe even try to build my own fleets - any tips from experienced players are welcome!
If I can help anybody with anything, just let me know, I'm happy to provide whatever assistance I can.
That's it from my side ... see you in space! (also on STO if there are fellow captains among you....?)
